Pur uant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Iowa Electric has s
made changes to the Duane Arnold Energy Center's Security Plan.
These changes have been reviewed in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and it is our determination that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Security Plan.
Please note that Iowa Electric has implemented a new procedure for processing changes to the Security Plan.
Beginning with this submittal, changes will be numbered sequentially as they are processed. This submittal includes Security Plan Changes One through Eight, i
Due to the procedure in which the Security Plan is bound before inserting it into the three-ring binder, the entire Security Plan and Guard j
Training and Qualification Plan are being re-submitted.
This change also incorporates the recent revision to the Security Plan made under 10 CFR a
50.90, and incorporates the past " pen and ink" changes.
This transmittal includes the original transmittal letter with y) enclosures and four copies of the transmittal letter with enclosures.
