Dear Sir:

Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1)

Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Emergency Power Bus Loadings for EFW In response to your letter of June 21, 1984 and as discussed per the plans in our letter of August 23, 1983, GPUN has reviewed the emergency power bus loadings as affected by the long term EFW modifications.

Employing GPU computer program GEE 01400 "TMI-1 Electrical Load Analysis" GPU determined the affects of the additional electrical loads upon bus and emergency diesel generator loadings.

Results indicate that the addition of the long tern EFW system modifications will not result in bus loadings exceeding acceptable limits under worst case loading conditions.

Computer runs are available in our Parsippany Office for review.

Sincerely, J

. D. h ill Director, TMI-1 l
