This submittal is being made in accordance with 10CFR50.46 in that an error was
.found and corrected in 1995 in the ABB Combustion Engineering evaluation model used for Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) analyses. The error was in the
. input processing for the COMPERC-Il refill /reflood code for large break LOCA analysis.
Correction of the error in COMPERC-Il had no effect on the peak cladding temperature (PCT) for the large break LOCA. The sum of the absolute magnitude of the temperature changes for the large break LOCA from all reports to date continues to be less than 1 F. No other error corrections were made in 1995.
A copy of CENPD-279, Supplement 7, entitled " Annual Report on CE ECCS Codes and Methods for 10CFR50.46," is attached, which addresses the year 1995 error and correction that is identified above.
