Thank you for your letter dated March 24, 2020, regarding Holtec Decommissioning International, LLCs exemption request from specific paragraphs of 10 CFR 50.82 and 50.75. I am the Branch Chief responsible for overseeing the NRC staffs review of the referenced exemption request. Although the NRC does not proactively solicit comments on exemption requests, I have instructed my staff to consider your comments, as appropriate, in the NRCs safety evaluation that will either approve or deny the exemption request.
Your letter has been included in the U.S. NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as an official agency record at ADAMS Accession No. ML20091J663.
