This letter documents a revised submittal date for the Vermont Yankee USI A-46 effort from May 31,1996
[ Reference (c)] to June 28,1996. As discussed between Vermont Yankee and the NRC Project Manager, tius extension is due to a short term diversion ofinternal engineering resources to design and construct modifications to the station battery block wall. The modifications addressed design analysis discrepancies identified by Vermont Yanke.e during the verification and prepnation of the final USI A-46 results and report [ Reference (b)].
