This request is made under the federal Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552. I would like the documents I request to pertain to the Farley 1 and 2 plants built by Alabama Power.

The documents I would like are all Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP+ reports as summarized by computer printout. Also please inc lude any Construction Audit Team reports or 50.55e reports.

It is not necessary to inform me in advance if there are no CAT reports for this project.

As you know, the FOI Act provides that if portions of a document are exempt' from release, the remainder must be segregated and disclosed.

Therefore, I will expect you to send me all nonexempt portions of the records which I have requested and ask that you Justify any deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the FOI Act. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any matwrials.

I am prepared to pay reaaonable search and duplication fees in connection with this request. However, the FOI Act provides for l

waiver or reduction of fe'es if disclosure could be considered as ssprimarily benefiting the general public.ts I am a Journalist employed by this newspaper and intend to use the information I am requesting for an [ article.

Therefore, I ask that you waive all search and duplication fees.

If you deny this request, however, and fees will exceed $10, please notify me in advance of filling my request.
