Dear Mr. Felton:

On behalf of the New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution (NECNP), I request that the documents described below be made available for public review at the Commission's Public Document Room in Washington, D.C. All of the documents relate to safety violations at the Seabrook nuclear power plant, reported by Joseph Wampler. As an employee of the Pullman-Higgins Contracting Co. at the site of Seabrook, Mr. Wampler supervised the handling of radioactive materials used to X-ray welds.

1) Please release all submissions by Mr. Wampler to the Nuclear. Regulatory. Commission during the last year regarding the Seabrook Plant.
2) Please release all documents relating to the NRC Staff's pocition,on Mr. Wampler's allegations and/or action

'taken b.y the NRC in response to those allegations.

3) Please release any other documents or correspondence that are in any way related to the submissions by Mr. Wampler.

The New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution is a non-profit public interest organization that has intervened in the'Seabrook licensing proceeding to ensure the safe operation of the Seabrook plant. Therefore, NECNP requests the Commission to waive any fees for document searches and reproductions pursuant to 10 C.F.R. S 9.14a.

NECNP has searched the Washington, D.C. Public Document Room for the information requested in this letter, and was

unable to find it. Thus, the response to this request will make additional information available to the public in the PDR on the current status of safety conditions at the Seabrook Nuclear. Power Plant.

I look forward to receiving your response within the statutory-time period of 10 working days.
