Dear Mr. Denton:
Your staff requested proprietary information during the MEB audit in Los Angeles on January 8-10, 1985. Enclosed please find three copies of the requested information for your staff's review.
Also enclosed is one (1) Application for Withholding, BO-138.
As the enclosed calculations contain information proprietary to the Bechtel Power Corporation, they are supported by an affidavit signed by an officer of the Bechtel Power Corporation, the owner of the information.
The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclocure by the Commission and addresses, with specificity, the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Bechtel be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the commission's regulations. Corresondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the Application for Withholding or the supporting Bechtel affidavit should reference 80-138 and should be addressed to:
