ULNRC-751 dated March 1, 1984 Enclosed please find three (3) copies of Revision 8A to the Callaway Plant Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) and a description of all changes made from Revision 7.

Revision 8A includes changes which address comments received from the NRC during the Emergency Preparedness Appraisal visit and their observation of our Annual Field Exercise.

Other changes reflect recent company organizational changes, mode applicability for EAL's, and editorial.

I It is'our opinion that Revision 8A does not decrease the effectiveness of emergency preparedness at Callaway and that the plan continues to meet the standards of 10CFR50.47(b) and the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix E.

Revision 8A of the Callaway Plant RERP is hereby submitted for your review.

. Per 10CFR50.54 (q), we intend to implement this revision on

' January 31, 1985 unless we receive comments from you which would necessitate additional changes.
