-T. yT,iBER 1717 H Street, Northwest gifnt.LA0..

Washington, D.C. 20555

Dear Sirs:

On December 20, 1984 I requested all communcations with the Commission relative to our motion of June 21, 1984. See letter attached.

On February 20, 1985, Mr. J.M. Felton, director of NRC rules and notified me that the pertinent documents were available in the NRC public document room in Washington D.C.

He had directed that the documents not publicly-available in the PDR would be placed in a folder under my name.

See letter attached.

On March 6,1985, I inspected the folder. There were four documents in total. Two were work assignment sheets. The other two were reprints of newspaper articles concerning radiation dose to the public from the TMl accident. The reprints are attached.

I believe that the reprints shoul'd have been served on affected parties of the TMI-Unit I restart proceeding as well as the boards.

1.

I request an explanation for the Commission's withholding of the newspaper reprints from the restart docket.

2.

I request that the reprints now be served since they are relevant to the Aamodt motion for reconsideration of January 15, 1985, presently before the Commission.

More than several dozen letters from local residents concerning the Aamodt motion for reconsideration were placed on the Commissioners' table at the time of a public meeting in February. These letters have not been served as is required by law.

3.

I request service of all letters from the public served on the l

Commission concerning the Aamodt motions of June 21, 1984 and January 15, 1985.

8503150470 050311 PDR ADOCK 05000289 3803

I am not satisfied that all correspondence with or between the Commissioners as requested in our December 20 letter has been supplied.

4.

I request the Commissioners to provide any and all communications concerning the Aamodt motions (June 21, 1984 and January 15,1985) in addition to those already provided, as listed in Appendices A and B of the Felton letter.

The Aamodts motio'is have been the subject of discussion in meetings i

5.

I request the service of the relevant portions of the transcripts of these meetings.
