SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS JANUARY, 1985 During the month of January, there was one ~ unit shutdown which- ~ occurred as planned on January 5,1985 and initiated the Cycle III-IV refueling outage. The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the-month of January: 1.- Performed ' miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance on diesel generators. 2. The reactor was de-fueled and planned Inservice and visual inspections of the reactor vessel were completed..The fuel, including 72 fresh assemblies, was placed back into the reactor vessel. 3. Eddy current examinations were performed on tubes in all three steam' generators. Three tubes in steam generator 2A were plugged because they exceeded the pluggable limit. Six tubes in steam 1 generator 2A and one tube in-steam generator 2B were plugged as a precautionary measure. 4. During an inspection preparatory to Integrated Leak Rate Testing, it was found that the field anchor for containment tendon V-17 was broken. Further inspection revealed that the field' anchor for tendon V-21 was cracked. A containment tendon inspection program j is underway.}}
