Dear Mr. Stolz:
This is in response to the Supplemental Safety Evaluation Report of January 31,1985 (Log No.1683), regarding the Automatic Shunt Trip Design; Generic Letter 83-28. Item 4.3.
Toledo Edison implemented the reactor trip breaker shunt trip modifica-tion during the 1984 refueling outage, as ccmmitted to in our letter dated June 22, 1984 (Serial No. 1054). Additionally, the seismic quali-fication of the shunt trip attachment has been completed satisfactorily.
Regarding your request that Toledo Edison submit proposed technical specifications consistent with the test procedure outline subeitted in Toledo Edison letter dated June 22, 1984, a telephone conversation was conducted with Mr. A. DeAgazio (NRC Project Manager) on February 14, 1985, requesting additional time to review the request for submitting technical specifications. Toledo Edison will provide a response to this requent by April 30, 1985.
