UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 May 28, 2020 Mr. Paul Ray, Administrator Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs Office of Management and Budget Washington, DC 20503
Dear Mr. Ray:
In response to Executive Order 12866, Regulatory Planning and Review, signed September 30, 1993, I am enclosing the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs)
Statement of Regulatory Priorities for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. Although only one rulemaking contained in the enclosure meets the requirements identified in Executive Order 12866, the NRC has included in the Statement of Regulatory Priorities the most important and significant regulatory rulemaking actions that the agency is considering issuing in proposed or final form during FY 2021.
You may direct questions about the NRCs Statement of Regulatory Priorities for FY 2021 to Ms. Jill Shepherd, Rulemaking Support Team Leader in the Regulatory Analysis and Rulemaking Support Branch, by phone at 301-415-1230 or by e-mail at Jill.Shepherd@nrc.gov.
Sincerely, Kristine L. Svinicki
