KG&E Amended Response - January 11, 1985:
Procedures for Manual and Automatic callout of the KG&E and WCGS Radio-logical Emergency Response Organization have been approved and imple-mented on January 10, 1985.
Training will be accomplished in the form of distribuiing procedure summary memorandums, an information copy of the applicable procedure, I
and acknowledgement forms to those personnel assigned to Emergency Response Organization positions. Acknowledgement forms will be returned t
on or before January 16, 1985. Formal classroom training will be con-ducted on or before January 16, 1985 for all personnel assigned respon-sibilities and duties to perform the Callout procedures.

Response: Work is presently underway to complete all turnover and testing work in the TSC. A work request was submitted to replace door gasketing on TSC doors.

KG&E Amended Response - January 11, 1985:
The installation, testing and turnover of the equipment in the mechanical room, including the General Atomics radiological air roonitor will be completed by February 15, 1985.
The installation of a remote air monitor will not be done.
The monitoring for radiolodine within the habitable spaces of the TSC will be accomplished as per EPP 01-4.1 Section 4.2.10.5.
TSC exterior doors and door gaskets have been repaired and installed.

WCGS Emergency Plan Training Records Contrary to the above, the following was identified:
1.
Two licensed operators scheduled to receive emergency classification train-ing had not received the training by January 4, 1985.
2.
Records for four licensed operators documenting emergency classification training could not be retrieved during the inspection visit.
RESPONSE
a) Corrective steps which have been taken and results achieved:
1.
Both operators received the required emergency classification training on January 8, 1985. Records are on file and have been verified to document the subject training.
2.
None b) Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further occurances:
1.

A training representative will be assigned in each major functional area of the KG8E Nuclear Department.
These representatives will have the responsibility for ensuring that all training conducted in his area is properly documented and that these records are transmitted in a timely fashion to the Nuclear Training Division. Upon receipt of records from training representatives, the Acavemic Coordinator ensures that each record meets the requirements specified in, applicable
training department procedures.
Additionally, the four operators whose training could not be verified will be retrained in the required emergency classification subject material.
