Dear Mr. Denton:
The Reference provided NRC approval of the Wolf Creek Shift Advisors program subject to Kansas Gas and Electric Company's (KG&E) commit-ment to fcur additional recommendations. This letter documents KG&E's commitments to those recommendations.
- 1) Procedure ADM #02-012 will be revised to specifically preclude shif t advisors from giving shutdown or stop-work order:2.' The revision will be complete prior to fuel load.
- 2) Monthly evaluations of shift advisors commenced in December, 1984.
- 3) Shif t advisor physical exams will be completed prior to initial < criticality.
- 4) Shif t advisors inre participating in a shift advisor requalification pro.] ram. Elements included in the program involve plant procedures, technical specifications, plant systems and simulator experience.
