This is to inform the Board that Houston Lighting & Power
. Company (HL&P) has announced that Mr. George W. Oprea, Jr., Execu--
tive Vice President Nuclear, will retire from HL&P effective

. February 1, 1985, after more.than 34 years of service.
Mr.
J.-H.
Goldberg, currently Vice President, Nuclear Engineering and Con-d struction, will replace Mr. Oprea upon his retirement and will be promoted to the position of Group Vice President-Nuclear reporting to M.. ~ D. 'D. Jordan, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of HL&P.
Mr. Goldberg will assume all responsibilities presently reporting to.Mr. Oprea.
