Dear Mr. Hopkins:
We write to confirm our conversation last week concerning an informal public hearing with respect to the above-referenced Petition. As we discussed, Petitioner the City of Cleveland, Ohio, will respond to the NRC's offer of an informal public hearing promptly after receipt and review of Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company's response to the City's 10 C.F.R. 2.206 Petition. The City understands that CEI's response is due to be filed twenty (20) days after its receipt of an April 12,1996 letter from the NRC.
