O' Reilly :
This report is being submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.10, " Fire Rated Assemblies."
The Plant entered Mode 5 on September 30, 1984, for a refueling outage.
In support of the outage, three (3) fire barriers have been inoperable for more than seven (7) days. Two (2) of these barriers (RB 303 and PA 301) were degraded to provide personnel access to the Reactor Building.
The third barrier
( NOZZ 602-18) is a spare containment penetration which was
' degraded to facilitate cable routing to various maintenance activities inside containment.
Appropriate actions have been taken to maintain compliance with Technical Specifications.
These fire barriers are expected to remain degraded for the duration of the outage.
