Dear Mr. Stolz:
This letter is to provide the status of Toledo Edison's_ response to Generic Letter 81-21 -- Natural Circulation Cooldown (Log No. 1497).
In our letter dated June 29, 1984 (Serial No. 1058) we anticipated that the B&W Owner's Analysis Subcommittee generic position would be. developed by September 1984 with our endorsement submitted by the end of September for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
The~B&W subcommittee is working on the generic position and talks are underway.with the NRC Staff. When the generic position is developed, Toledo Edison will either endorse the suomitted position or submit it separately.
