Enclosed is Revision 7 to the Beaver Valley Power Station Physical Security Plan (PSP). This change is in response to NRC (T. T. Martin) letter dated September 28, 1984 which stated that certain portions of previously submitted revisions were considered unacceptable.
Revision 7, Base Plan, Pages 12-3 and 12-3a, modifies the listing of criteria for testing metal detectors as submitted in Revision 1 of the PSP.
The commitment to dedicate PTZ camera #25 to monitor a specific area has already been included as part of Revision 6 submitted on September 18, 1984.
These changes in Revision 7 have been reviewed and judged not to constitute a degradation to the previous commitments in the PSP.
These changes, since they do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Physical Security
- Plan, are being submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.54(p).
The enclosed materials are consi.dered proprietary under the provision of 10CFR2.790(d), and Safeguards Information under the provisions of 10CFR73.21, and are thereby exempt from public disclosure.
