REQUEST FOR A 1 WEEK EXTENTION OF TIME TO FILE TESTIMONY ON LEA'S DEFERRED OFF-SITE EMERGENCY PLANNING CONTENTIONS (LEA-1,2,3,5 &23)
To all Parties to this proceeding, As you are aware, Limerick Ecology Action received the Board's Order admitting LEA's deferred emergency planning contentions on November 6,
1984. This order established a filing deadline for the receipt of testimony on LEA-1,2,3,5 & 23 on November 19, 1984 I contacted each party involved in off-site emergency planning contentions on November 7 to determine whether there were any objections by the parties to LEA's plans to request a 1 week extention for the filing of this testimony. At that time no party, other than counsel l
for the Applicant stated any objections to LEA's request, as long l
as the hearings on LEA-1,2,3,5 & 23 were scheduled following those already scheduled on LEA contentions LEA-II, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 24, l
26, 27, & 28, to insure that all parties would receive the testimony l
within the required time before the hearings. This request is not I
expected to delay the hearing schedule on these issues.
l I have enclosed a copy of LEA's telegram submitting this request to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board in this proceeding and do hereby certify that I have served a copy of this letter and the mail-gram on all parties on the service list this 8th. day of November, 1984 l
