Control Assemblies"(TAC Nos. M86860 and 86861)
In response to Generic Letter 93-04, " Rod Control System Failure and Withdrawal of Rod Cluster Control Assemblies", we had committed to implement a current order timing modification at the next scheduled refueling outage of each unit following receipt of the official technical bulletin from Westinghouse. The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the status of the commitment.
The Unit 2 modification was complete in June 1995. The Unit 1 modification was completed during the refueling outage that ended in March 1996. We continue to perform current order timing surveillance testing per our commitment.
In this letter we have made no new Nuclear Regulatory Commission commitments.
