I have reviewed the transcript of the October 16, 1984 prehearing conference in the South Texas Project operating license proceeding and have identified a number of errors which distort statements made by Mr. Gutterman and myself at the conference. Since the Board has indicated that it would be reviewing the transcript before issuing an order regarding the issues to be litigated in Phase II (Tr. 10862-63), I felt that it would be useful to call these errors to your attention at this time rather than wait for the filing of transcript corrections at the conclusion of Phase II. Accordingly, enclosed are proposed corrections to that transcript.
