Dear Mr. Denton:
As requested by Mr. Paul O'Connor, NBC Licensing Project Manager for Nblf Creek Generating Station, Kansas Gas and Electric Conpany will provide the following suIplemental information regarding NRC Generic Ietter 83-28:
1.
A report describing the vendor interface program, including an explaination of how the NUBC report has been factored into the vendor interface program, will be submitted and inplemented prior to Decenber 31, 1986 or prior to startup from the first refueling outage, whichever is later.
2.
Specific information regarding the periodic maintenance program and trending of parameters for the reactor trip l
breakers will be submitted within 90 days of receipt of the Operating License.
3.
A report describing the reactor trip breaker testing program, the results of the testing, and the inpact of l
the results on the breakers' demonstrated life cycle and periodic replacement interval will be submitted prior to startup from the first refueling outage.
