Licensee Event Report 91-07, dated April 19, 19 Gentlemen:

SUBJECT:

Status of Corrective Actions from Licensee Event Report 91-07 My letter of April 19,(LER) 91-07 for the fort Calho(un Station (fCS).LIC 91-0015L) transm 1991 This LER concerned twenty-one 480 volt molded case circuit breakers determined to have overlapping breaker l coordination curves with the 480 volt Motor Control Center feeder cirettit I breakers. Long term corrective actions associated with this condition included I con >oletion of the Dreaker/ fuse Coordination Study, and correction of any problems identified on a schedule commensurate with their safety significance. Because these actions are also related to NRC Information Notice 88-45 and the Electrical Distribution System functional Inspection performed at FCS in January 1991, this letter provides the current status of these actions. Umaha Public Power District (0 PPD) has completed the Breaker / fuse Coordination Study through Engineering Analysis EA-fC-91-004, Revision 0. The breaker coordination problems described in LER 91-07 were resolved during the 1992 Refueling Outage. No additional safety significant 480 volt coordination problems were found. Three 480 volt coordination discrepancies were determined to be non-safety significant; therefore, they were not within the scope of the design basis concerns or commitments described in LER 91-07. OPPD plans but does not commit to resolve the remaining discrepancies in the future on a schedule consistent with effective resource utilization. OPPD considers the corrective actions associated with LER 91-07 to be complete. If you should have any questions, please contact me. Sincerely, ,cy, _f Eb' W. G.
