Enclosed are ten (10) copies of the latest Beaver Valley Power Station Emergency Preparedness Plan (Issue 8, Revision 0).

The Plan contains changes mandated by the recent Duquesne Light Company reorgani-zation, deficiencies identified in drills and exercises, and comments received during various reviews and audits.

As stipulated in the Code of Federal Regulations (50.54 q), these changes do not " decrease the effectiveness of the plans and the plans, as changed, continue to meet the requirements of Appendix E of this part."

Please destroy any previous copies to avoid misinfonnation or error.
