Ladies and Gentlemen In view of the Licensing Board's-recent Order of October 19,'1984 scheduling the commencement of hearings on offsite emergency planning contentions for November 19, 1984,.I suggest that we meet in Philadelphia on Monday, October.29, 1984 to discuss and resolve prehearing matters.
i As you are aware, the Board has previously encouraged the parties to have such meetings, and has similarly urged i:
U the parties to do so in its most recent Order (p. 3).
The purpose of the meeting would be to discuss the order in'which the contentions would be litigated, the order in which the parties would present evidence, the listing of witnesses, withdrawal and settlement of specific contentions or. parts thereof, and any other matters which the parties or their representatives wish to bring up.
