_ Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.59 Connonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A to the Operating Licer.se DPR-30 for Quad Cities Station Unit 2.

This change requests an extension of certain MAPLHGR curves and the addition of 2 curves. All MAPLHGR curves (Figure 3.5-1-shaets 1 thru 6) are enclosed.

3: in Attachment 1. The individual changes are noted in the following paragraphs.

_ .The curve for-fuel types P8DRB265H and Br80RB265H (Sheet 3) was

- extended from a burnup of 30,000 MWD /ST 'to 45,000 MWD /ST. The values used are those in Table AJ of EDO-24146A, E&A Sheet 10 (enclosed as Attachment 2).

This extension meets the EC requirements for adjustment of MAPLHGR limits to allow for enhanced fission gas release at high burnups as discussed in Reference (b).

a _ -Curves for. fuel types BP80RB282 and BP80RB283H were added as Sheet 6.

.these proposed changes, CECO intends to incorporate these fuel types in Quad Cities Unit 2 Reload 7 Cycle 8 under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59.

The other curves of Figure 3.5-1 contain the same values as the N: .

~ previous revision.' The only' change to Sheets 1, 2, 4, and 5 is the total number of sheets listed in the title as Sheet 6 was added. The curve
