SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT Docket No. 71-9263 Model No. SPEC-150 Package Certificate of Compliance No. 9263 Revision No. 10
SUMMARY
By application dated April 6, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20099D186), Source Production & Equipment Company, Inc.
(SPEC, or the applicant), requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9263 for the Model No. SPEC-150 package. SPEC did not request any changes to the package design or its authorized contents. No changes were made to the operating procedures or for the maintenance of the package. The certificate has been renewed for a five-year term.
EVALUATION The staff reviewed the documents referenced in the certificate and determined that the documentation was available and complete.
CONDITIONS Condition No. 10 has been updated to allow the use of Revision No. 9 of the certificate for approximately one year.
Condition No. 11 has been updated to reflect the new expiration date of June 30, 2025.
CONCLUSION The certificate has been renewed for a five-year term, which expires on June 30, 2025. Based on the statements contained in the application, and the conditions listed above, the staff concludes that the changes indicated do not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71.
