Dear Laurie:

As you know, the Board's September 5, 1984 Memorandum and Order provided for a discovery period that commenced on the date of that order and ended with the filing of responses to the second round of discovery requests. The parties later agreed to allow an additional thirty days for depositions.

Since the Applicants' responses to the Intervenors second round of discovery requests on Contentions 7, 10.1, 10.3, 10.5, 10.7, 11, 12, and 14 were served on February 13, 1985, we calculate that the period for depositions and therefore for discovery on these contentions will end on March 15, 1985.

I will be in touch with you shortly to let you know the individuals that we would like to depose. We would like to schedule those depositions between March 6th and March 15th.

In response to requests to produce 7-11 through 7-13, which requested documents referenced in letters or reports prepared by William Lawless, the Intervenors indicated that the requested documents could be obtained from public reading rooms or other sources. As was done with the prior documents produced by the Intervenors, we request that any copies of these documents in the possession of William Lawless or anyone else associated with the Intervenors be made available for our inspection and copying. Also, we would like to have produced the document requested by request to produce 7-13(a), to which
