1 The Nuclear Rcgulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 82 (Ref. 2) to Facility Operating _ License No. DPR-34 for the FSV Nuclear Generating Station.
This amendment modified License No. DPR-34 to possession only status.1 With'-
issuance ^of the possession only license.(P.0L), the _ Updated Final Safety Analysis -
Report (FSAR) is no longer required to be updated since 10 CFR 50.71(c) only; applies to those nuclear power reactors licensed to operate (Ref. 3). Therefore, thei Updated FSAR and Fire Protection' Program Plan (which is part of the FSAR by.
reference) are not being submitted with the annual 10 CFR 50.59 report, as has been the case in previous years.
