Dear Mr. Denton:
In response to the Referenced letter, the following information is pro-vided relative to Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No. 1:
- 1. 10CFR50.49 (1) is applicable based on plant schedule.
- 2. A program which satisfies the requirements of 10CFR50.49 is in place and is being implemented.
- 3. The schedule requirements were established by the NRC Staff in the operating license review.
- 4. All equipment within the scope of 10CFR50.49 is either fully qualified or a Justification for Interim Operation (JIO) has been submitted pending full qualification.
- 5. The IE Bulletin and IE Information Notices listed in the Referenced letter have been addressed in the plant qualification program mentioned in Item 2 above or in related programs.
