" Deviation between Design Documents and the As-Built Plant" On December 18, 1984, Detroit Edison's Mr. J. E. Conen, i

Engineer-Licensing, telephoned Mr. R. C. Knop of NRC Region III, to report the identification of deviations ~between design documents and the as-built plant.

This deficiency is potentially reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e) and is being tracked as Item 143.

Description of Deficiency Walkdown inspections have revealed some deviations between design documents and the as-built ~ plant.

The NRC has been provided with specific details of the deviations identified during meetings between Detroit Edison. personnel and the Region III staff.

Item 143 is considered potentially reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e) because hardware deviations from the drawings' require further evalua**on to determine safety significance.
