Item 111, " Design Deficiency on the RHR Reservoir Freeze Over" l

Detroit Edison will use a temporary auxiliary boiler to add any heat necessary to prevent freezing of'the~ Residual Heat Removal Service Water (RHRSW) reservoirs tais winter.

Therefore, Detroit Edison will not operate the Emergency 4

Diesel Generators to supply heat'to the RHRSW reservoirs as had been indicated in References (3) and (4).
