LILCO'S SUGGESTION FOR JOINT PANEL OF WITNESSES Lilco, by counsel, respectfully suggests that the parties' panels on the diesel generator load contention testify jointly.

Lilco has advised Suffolk County and the Staff of its desire to proceed with a joint panel. Such a proceeding, in Lilco's view, will lead.to a more efficient hearing and produce a more focused record. Further, a joint panel shou;d not present logistical problems because-it is anticipated that the load.

contention will involve no more than eight witnesses.
