Dear Mr. Sinkin:
This is in response to your letter of January 30, 1985.
i As your letter states, I was able, after checking, to confirm that my office did make a request for publicly available records of the Selective Service System.
No
" investigation" of you has been undertaken and no other request for information has been made by my office.
In addition, I have been informed that our client, Houston Lighting & Power Company, has instituted no such investi-gation.
I find your digression regarding alleged events of 1979 as baseless now as I have your similar charges on other occasions.
Equally fanciful is your conclusion that a single inquiry of a federal agency regarding a matter of public record, through procedures afforded by that agency (see 32 CFR 51665.7) is an " attempt to harm you profes-sionally or personally."
