The preparation and shipment of all of the full length fuel rods was con-ducted pursuant to the license. The preparation, including the cutting of fuci rods, -of damaged or partical rods was performed in accordance with the

The full length rods were shipped to the DOE facility at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

I therdfor requested that the Lynchburg Research Center be granted authorization
