Enclosed is an application (XSNM3812), dated April 7, 2020, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Edlow International Company as Agent for U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration. The application requests the export of low-enriched uranium to Belgium for fuel qualification testing at the BR-2 Research Reactor.

Assurances from EURATOM that the material will be subject to all the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.

Please note that, if possible, the applicant has requested an expedited review of this application in order to ship this material to Belgium within the next 60 days.
