AMENDMENT 32 APPROVAL OF FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER L-2020-MCA-0000)
Dear Mr. Terry:
This refers to letter 19-074, dated December 20, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML20006D836), in which you submitted an October 2019 revision to the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP).
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has completed its review of the request and approves the revised plan. A discussion of the NRC review is provided in Enclosure 3 to this letter.
Pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Section 70.23, Condition S-1 of Materials License SNM-42 is hereby amended to include the date of December 20, 2019.
Condition SG-5.1 of the License has been modified to reference the FNMCP revised in October 2019 and will be updated in a future license amendment to reflect the date on the specific pages of the FNMCP, which your submittal stated would be changed upon implementation.
All other license conditions shall remain the same. Enclosures 1 and 2 to this letter provide the amended Materials License SNM-42. The review of the NRC staff is documented in the Safety Evaluation Report, which is Enclosure 3 to this letter. This letter concludes action on this submittal and Enterprise Project Identifier L-2020-MCA-0000 is considered CLOSED.
Enclosures 2 and 3 contain sensitive security-related information. Accordingly, they are marked as Official Use Only, and are withheld from public disclosure. When separated from the sensitive enclosures, this letter and Enclosure 1 are decontrolled and publicly available, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure."
The letter transmitted contains Security-Related Information. When separated from Enclosures 2 & 3, this letter is decontrolled.
