DOCKET NO. 50-446 LARGE BORE PIPING AND SUPPORTS SDAR: CP-86-36 (INTERIM REPORT)

On June 9, 1986, TU Electric notified the NRC via TXX-4844 of a reportable deficiency involving the scope of plant modifications resulting from tne project's pipe support validation program.
The purpose of this report is to update the corrective action completion date for this issue.
Corrective actions for this iss e consist of completion of large bore pipe support modifications categorized as prudent, recent industry practice, adjustment, or cumulative effects resulting from the Corrective Action Program (CAP).
As stated in Ref erence (1), these Corrective actions were scheduled for completion prior to the Unit 2 Hot Functional Test (HFT).
These corrective actions have been rescheduled for completion prior to Unit 2 fuel load.
However, those modifications required for performance of the Unit 2 HFT will be completed prior to the start of HFT for Unit 2.
