CALLAWAY PLANT DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION TABLE 3.7-4 ELECTRICAL PENETRATION ROOM MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE

ULNRC-2529 dated December 6, 1991 This letter provides supplemental information in support of the subject technical specification request as discussed with the Callaway Project Manager on June 16, 1992.
The Safety Evaluation which was transmitted as of the referenced letter discussed on page 2, paragraph 2 that "the qualified life of affected componentt, will be re-evaluated based on 106 F continuous temperature".
There are six transmitters which were re-evaluated due to the proposed 2 F temperature increase (from 104 F to 106*F).
The increase in temperature resu1*-1 in a decrease of 11 months in the qualified life for
.se transmitters.
The Callaway EQ Program will be updated with this information upon approval of the subject technical specification request.
