Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Unit 2 Withdrawal of Facility Operating License Change Request 94-08
Dear Sir:
By letter dated January 13,1995, PEOO Energy submitted Ucense Change Request (LCR) 94-08 requesting changes to Appendix A of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3 Facility Operating Ucenses (FOL). The proposed changes were necessary to support PBAPS Modification P00068 which upgraded major components of the Traversing in-core Probe System. In response to this request, on April 24,1995, the NRC issued Amendment No. 203 for PBAPS Unit 3 (FOL DPR-56) only. The LCR was approved for Unit 3 only because it was anticipated by the NRC that a previously submitted LCR (LCR 93-16) to convert to improved Technical Specifications (ITS) would be approved before the Unit 2 amendment was needed (Fall 1996). The tables affected by LCR 94-08 were relocated to licensee controlled documents as part of the ITS conversion. In their April 24,1995 letter, the NRC requested that PECO Energy withdraw the amendment request for Unit 2 when ITS was implemented. Accordingly, this letter requests that LCR 94-08 or PBAPS Unit 2 be withdrawn from further NRC consideration and review.
