exercise of the offsite radiological emergency response plans site-i specific to-the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant.
The State of-Minnesota, the Counties of Sherburne and Wright, and the Northern States Power Company fully participated in the exercise.
The i

l-exercise report was-prepared by the. Federal Emergency _ Managements r
Agency (FEMA): Region V staff and a copy.of the report 1will be provided to the State of Minnesota.
l There was one Deficiency identified during the_ November 5,-1991, 4
I exercise due to inadequate field monitoring team capabilitiese There j
were also-two Areas Requiring: Corrective Action-(ARCAs) identif'ad

during the November 5, 1991, exercise.
During_a remedial exercise i
conducted on March.26, 1992, the StateJdemonstrated-that=the

Deficiency had been corrected.
However,'two additional ARCAs were f
identified during-the remedial exercise.

remedial exercise are included in the enclosed report.
