.ECTRIC GENERATING PLANT - UNIT 2 SUBMITTAt oF SURVEILLANCE CAPSULE TEST RESULTS In accordance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix H and 10 CFR 50.4, Georgia Power Company is cubmitting within one year of capsule withdrawal from Vogtle Electric Generating Plant-Unit 2, WCAP-14532, which is a srmmary test report for Surveillance Capsule Y.
This report includes the data required by ASTM E 185-82, and the results of all fracture

toughness tests conducted on the beltline materials. The existing pressure temperature limits for the heat-up and cooldown curves in the Technical Specifications are more conservative than the limits obtained from analyzing Capsule Y; therefore, no changes to the heatup and cooldown curves in the Technical Specifications are required. Since the methodology med to calculate cold overpressure protection setpoints has recently changed, we expect to submit a revision to the Pressure Temperature Limits Report
( PTLR ) by October 30,1996.
Additionally, we are also submitting a copy of WCAP-14534, which is the most recent evaluation of pressurized thermal shock for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant-Unit 2 vessel.
