Dear Dr. Murley:
In the referenced letter, Commonwealth Edison (CECO) submitted a response to a Level IV Notice of Violation (NOV). As part of that response, CECO committed to rewrite and rebaseline the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) by March,1992. Due to rescheduling of Unit 2 refuel outage activities from the Fall of 1991 to the Winter of 1992, the On-Site Review of the Rebaseline UFSAR was delayed.
During the referenced teleconference, CECO provided a status update en the UFSAR Rebaseline project. This included a request for a six week extension to the commitment date. The purpose of this letter is to document the verbal approval of the commitment extension, and provide the final completion date of May 15,1992 for the Quad Cities Station UFSAR Rebaseline project.
