PERIODIC UPDATING OF FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(e), Wisconsin Electric Power Company, Licensee for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, submits Revision 3 to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).
As requested, under separato cover, we are providing one original and twelve copies of those revised pages.
Each copy contains revised FSAR pages that are to be inserted in accordance with the accompanying instructions.
On an annual basis, Wisconsin Electric is required to submit to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) changes to the Quality Assurance Program Description (FSAR Section 1. 8).
On June 28, 1984 the latest changes were submitted and, subsequent to that time, the NRC granted approval of all changes with the exception of a provision that would have allowed equipment to be placed into service prior to satisfaction of all' purchase order requirements.
Since this provision was disapproved, the present wording on page 1.8-14 of the FSAR is incorrect.
This revision corrects that wording.
Copies of Revision 3 to the Point Beach FSAR have also been submitted to the following state and locci organizations: okk O
