The purpose of this -letter is to withdraw the subject TS change as discussed with NRC on March 20, 1992. This TS change cuid have revised allowable values and clarified thu basis for satisfying the channel calibration requirement for Unit 1 RCS RTDs. This change was necessary i
because of test instruriencation errors that occurred during Unit 1 l
Cycle 6 start-up that invalidated the RCS RTD aensor calibration. On March 19, 1992, SQN Unit 1 began a shutdown to cold shutdown to silow for repairs to the feedwater piping. As a result of this shutdown, TVA will l
reperform the RTD sencor calibrations; and accordingly, the subject TS change will not be needed.
