West Valley Qualification 110tebook - Replacement Dear Sirt-Enclosed for your use and information are five copies of the replacement " Waste Qualification liotebook" used to-support the West Valley }iaste FQrJLQualification Procram for CemRD1 Solidification of Sludge Wash Liauid.
As you know, the original test program was vaable to develop a suitable waste form recipe.
Based upon the consultation of many experts, including 11RC, we have revised the test program extensively.
The new notebook ref'lects the changes.
The four notebooks sent to you in May 1991 are no longer valid and may be discarded.
Information developed under the old notebook however, is not " lost" and will be retained in the West Valley Project records.
As before, the notebook is arranged in a tabular format.
Several tabs are " blank", and will be filled in as the documents outlined in the Test Plan are completed.
Progress on recipe qualification is covered in the-schedule update provided to you weekly.
Since this mid-course correction has resulted in overall schedule delays, we would like to invite you:and Mary Adams to join us for a detailed review of the now Plan sometime in the near future.
