This request is made under the federal Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C.

Please send us copies of the transcripts of all Nuclear Regulatory Commission meetings held since May 10, 1983 that were closed to the media and the public and at which commission members discussed the restart of Unit 1 of the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant near Middletown, Pa.
Among the transcripts we are specifically requesting are thC two closed meetings. held during the week of Jan. 23, 1984.
We understand that these closed meetings occurred on Jan. 24 and Jan. 26, 1984.
As you know, the FOI t.it provides that if portions of a document are exempt from rels
.e, the remainder must be segregated and disclosed.
We reserve 'the right to appeal your decision to withhold any materials.
If possible we would like to review these records to decide if we would like to have copies of them.
