Dear Mr. Chainnan:
As the County Legislator representing the district in which the shoreham Nuclear Power Plant is located, I urge the Nuclear Regulatory Ccr: mission to open its deliberations on the Iang Island Lighting Campany's application for a low tower license to the public in order to provide full public scrutiv to the Nuclear Regulatory Ccamission's deliberations.
This is a time when it is appropriate to racall that ;he 1;RC's powers were delegated to them by the people through their elec+cd representatives. Accordingly, tha people have a right to see how their responsibilities which they have delegated are used.
